About us

City Gateway Media is an independent pure play digital out of home media company, incorporated in 2006 to design, build and operate commercial LED screens in premier city centre locations.

Our first screen was commissioned in January 2007 to great acclaim. It was voted into The Guardian’s Top 10 UK Outdoor Sites in June 2007 and appeared at number 6 in Kinetic’s Top 10 Digital Sites.

Located in the dynamic Piccadilly district, The Manchester Tower is Europe’s first commercially operated ‘skyscraper’ digital screen.

The structure is 9 storey’s high (120 ft), is architecturally designed and dominates the local cityscape, with a screen 3.6 x 19m directly in proportion to online skyscraper advertisements (which can be re-purposed for use on the Tower).

In November 2008 we were appointed to market commercial advertising on the Thomson Reuters digital screen at Canary Wharf, London, the satellite financial district to The City of London.

In January 2010 we were appointed to market commercial advertising on the West Kensington Digital Wall, located at the intersection of Cromwell Road and North End Road, a key entry point to West London.

We are looking to extend our inventory into key locations within other areas of London and major regional cities and would be delighted to speak to landlords with property suitable for the development of additional iconic out of home screens.
